Chicago White Sox v. Minnesota Twins
4:30PM (first pitch 6:00ish)
I am planning on doing the Patio Party deal again, but if there’s overwhelming sentiment against it, then adjustments can be made. I don’t have a final price yet, but figure somewhere in the $65 range for party + game ticket. Sometime in the near future, after the plans are concrete, I will re-make my MySpace page and have PayPal links for easy purchasing ease.

I thought White Sox night games startes at 7:11 since they sold their start time to 7-11. No really. I’m not joking.

Saturday night games start at 6:05 (with postgame fireworks), Sundays are usually day games. It’s the weekday games that are at 7:11.
I don’t see anything wrong with getting money out of something totally arbitrary like a gametime. It’s a whopping 6 minutes, and in any event I’d prefer slightly later gametimes on weeknights anyways (I’d rather it be at 7:30 or so) since it means people don’t have to leave work early to get down there. It sounds kind of silly to sell the time, but it’s really not any worse than US Cellular Field or the Bud Light Bleachers at Wrigley Field.

Any idea of the number of people who may be looking to stay in hotels? I was starting to call around on prices, and the two I have spoken with so far have different group rates based on the number of rooms reserved.
So – if I could tell them an approximate number, I can get a better idea of a rate to pass along to everyone as an option.

I am striking out on a lot of the group rates. The NeoCon Convention covers that weekend, and five of the six places I have spoken with are requiring three night minimum stays for the date.
The sixth was $269/night for the group rate.
I have a few more calls in, though…
